Spontane Erlebnisse, Bilder im Vorübergehen, Momentaufnahmen bearbeite ich im Atelier weiter. Andere Arbeiten entstehen direkt vor Ort. Bei einigen Plein-Air-Arbeiten reduziere ich einen Bildausschnitt um mit Pinseln und Spachteln die Struktur und Oberfläche des Motivs zu ergründen.
I further develop spontaneous experiences, snapshots, and photographic experiences in my studio. Other works are created directly on location. In some plein air paintings, I reduce the size of a section of the image to explore the structure and surface of the subject using brushes and palette knives.
