Bei einigen Plein-Air-Arbeiten wähle ich einen Ausschnitt, der es mir erlaubt, mit Pinseln und Spachteln der Beschaffenheit und Struktur des Motivs auf die Schliche zu kommen. Bei anderen Arbeiten ist es der Moment und die Stimmung, die ich versuche einzufangen. Die Abstraktion sowie das Wechselspiel zwischen Abstraktion und Realität bieten mir die Möglichkeit, eigene Kompositionen zu entwickeln.
For some plein air works, I choose a section that allows me to get to the bottom of the texture and structure of the motif using brushes and spatulas. In other works, it is the moment and the mood that I try to capture. Abstraction and the interplay between abstraction and reality offer me the opportunity to develop my own compositions.
